Sometimes a month's worth of inspiration will come all at once. Today was one of those days. Around late afternoon I was beginning to think that I needed to go get in my car and go for a drive to get some photos for my "roadscapes" project. Then I happened to look out and there was a barge going by. Not just a barge but a barge floating in a dream-like fog. I was so excited. I would have been perfectly happy with that one photograph. But I went back in the house and looked back out and the fog kept changing. So I grabbed both of my cameras and headed back down to the dock. Outside it was light, the fog rolled in,fog rolled out, rolled back in, then the sun came out, the rain started back.. it was nothing short of amazing.
It's so hard to capture fog. These photos are nice, I'm pretty satisfied with them. But believe me the fog was so much prettier than what I was able to capture.
I am going to put these up and let you pick which one is your favorite. I can't use them for another day because that would be cheating! I'll be going back and deleting a hundred photos off my computer because they take up so much memory space in raw format.
I uploaded these photos onto my editing program so that I could add my name but didn't alter them only adjusted the contrast on a couple to lighten it or darken it.
The last photo looks like a water color and I went back to double check it. I looked at it under the loop to see if there had been water on my lens. Turns out- there wasn't. It was just the clouds doing their thing! Isn't that cool? I think so.
Which one is your favorite???
Enjoy, tomorrow you may get a mud puddle.
