This is not new.. just new to me.  But it is one of those products that needs to be shared.
My friend Kim told me about this and insisted I find it.  She said she could drink it through a straw.  I figured that was a pretty good testimony to how much she like it and knew I'd have to look around for it.  My first grocery store trip found another Girard's dressing but it wasn't this flavor.  She told me that the champagne dressing was "THE" one to get.  So I waited until my next grocery run to Wal-Mart.  They had it.

Let me just say... it was good.  It was very good.  Best I've had in a while.  It doesn't have that Zesty "twang" that Italian dressings all seem to have now, that almost make your cheeks hurt. This was a little more genteel.  Elegant. Authentic?  Yes, more authentic.  It tastes like a really great dressing you'd get at a nice Italian restaurant.  It brought back memories of Krebs, Oklahoma and special dinners at Isle of Capri Restaurant.
Kim said she'd been eating it on chopped salad with grape tomatoes, cucumber, and avocado.

We finished our bottle in a week which is saying something.  I'm not crazy about store bought dressings and have all sorts of half-empty salad dressing bottles in my refrigerator that are needing to be thrown away.  So when you go find this you can buy one bottle just to try it but for me, the appropriate amount to buy is this.
Three at a time, baby!!!   I love it that much.
Big thanks to Kim for the heads up.

Life is good!!!

I don't know why I'm just finding this out... Did you know that the Dollar General Store offers a $5.00 off coupon every Saturday???  My friend just told me she goes every Saturday to buy her cleaning supplies there.  I'm so going to do this!!!

I admit I looooooooooooove Pottery Barn.  I walk in there and I love the way their sofas look so inviting and comfy.  I love the throw pillows, I love the throw blankets.  I love it.  But then I look at the price tag and think.... maybe they'll go on sale.  But the problem is that sale will be when it's 85 degrees outside in the spring and then my mind will not be on blankets but will be on things outside.  Now is when I need them.
So my next favorite thing to do is try to find a look I love for less.   Pottery Barn has some pretty amazing blankets but I've also found some pretty darn good substitutes at Sam's Club! Yes, you heard it.. Sam's!

Cable knit blanket one side cuddly goodness on the other side.
Coco says it feels expensive! She thought it came from Pottery Barn!
Here's another blanket from Sam's!
I have a serious blanket obsession.  I have them in almost every room of my house.  And what is better than wrapping up in a cozy blanket?

I'm liking this hair oil I have been passing by this product for a while in Walgreens but just never brought myself to buy it. I don't know the exact amount but it came in a pretty good sized bottle. I was afraid if I didn't like it I would end up wasting so much. But then I found this little sample size while shopping for stocking stuffers for Amy at Ulta.
I stole it from her right after she left town for a few days and have been using it on my dry staticky winter hair. My hair feels amazing! So soft. If my feelings about this change I'll let you know but right now it smells great and feels great too!!

Honestly, the littlest things make me happy!
Sometimes you need to use worcestershire seasoning and you just want it to stay on the meat not roll off onto the tray below.
Enter this product.... TA-DA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you been wondering if these really work?  I wouldn't have bought one if I hadn't tried it first!  But our friends had one and it is not only fun to make drinks but very practical and cost efficient.  I won't bore you with the details but it is!  Check it out.
We've primarily used ours to make diet red bull and another diet energy drink that reminds us of our beloved "Rooster Booster" from QT or Pink Rock Star energy drinks.  We've also made a ton of club soda and tonic water.
The only extra thing I bought was more clear bottles.  Because when go up the lake we needed to pack several in our ice chest.  I suppose we could have just taken the whole thing- it's not that big.
If you live nearby and you just have to try it to believe it call me and I'll mix some up for you!

A while back I discovered broccoli slaw.  And I was in love.
Then I found this!  Chopped Salad.  And I danced a happy dance in the store.
WHY??? you may ask....

This is Ruth's Chris' chopped salad.  It is pure Heaven.
The bagged stuff isn't quite this good but it's still very good.  Plus, I'm lazy.  I mean... tired.  I haven't had the energy to chop all of the veggies.  But I've been wanting to do it.  I think fresh chop salad would be the bomb.

We eat this as a side dish with just about any kind of meal... barbeque works, so does steak, or chicken.  But my very favorite thing to do is add it to my truck tacos.

It's not so much that these are new.. they're just new to me.

I finally broke down and tried them and now it's my new obsession.  I love you thin bagels!
Whether they're broiled with a little bit of butter, cinnamon and sugar to make cinnamon "toast"  or heated with a little slice of cheese  it's a yummy little breakfast treat!  <3

I found a blog site on Pinterest this morning that had a recipe for shave cream and I dropped everything and made up a batch!  I love it.  She is so right, that is one product I hate spending money on!  :)

P.S.  I have just now finished up my first batch of homemade shaving cream and I'm planning to make another batch.  When I have that last little bit of product left in a shampoo, conditioner, or lotion bottle I don't feel so guilty now about not using every last drop. I know it will get used for this!
I took a lot of teasing from my friends and family for making this.  A lot of shaking heads said "you know... shaving cream isn't THAT expensive.."  but I won them over in the end!!!

I know this isn't brand new but it's new to me.  It beats the heck out of bullion cubes!
