I am having all sorts of challenges getting this project taken care of! No cord, wrong cord, dead battery, no app, won't drag, memory space full... I'm just going to say I've jumped thru hoops like a circus poodle to stay on task while travelling. So drumroll please......
Today's roadside photo is.....
From Sanger, Texas off I -35, this house which I've been told was a stagecoach post. I've spent a couple of hours trying to research that and haven't come up with anything.
What I DO know, is this house is creepy. Creepy is putting it mildly.
It's always looked haunted. But one day several years ago we drove by early on a Sunday morning and there were big black buzzards all over the rooftop and in the yard. There were people standing in the yard in hooded robes. Not like the KKK kind of robes- but maybe some kind of ceremonial robe? I don't really know but I do know the hairs on the back of my neck stood up.
I know someone lives in this house. There are cars parked in the back yard. They could be perfectly nice people. I wouldn't stop there though in broad daylight.
Today we arrived in Dallas. We had lunch with Vanessa, Amy's beautiful sorority sister. We checked into our hotel and have seen several players on the football team. We love our Sooners! I just want to hug those sweet baby boys. You forget watching them on tv that they are just kids. But they have baby faces when you see them in person. :)
Heading to bed now. It's great to be on this adventure with Joe, Evan, Amy, and Robbie!
Life is good!
